Assessment
criteria (Theory & Practical Test)
Theory - May do either a written or oral test. Practical - Will involve
a series of oral questions prior to doing the actual drive.
Practical assessment criteria:
- The working capacity of their fork lift truck
- The conditions of operating a fork lift in their workplace
- The features of the fork lift
- How to safely drive a fork lift
- Pre - checks
- Maintenance checks
- Parking procedures
FEES
- Full course, usually for new drivers, includes 6 hours
of training and 3 hours of assessment is $480;
- Partial course, usually for experienced drivers, includes
4 hours of training and 3 hours of assessment is $380.
- Assessment only $240.
- WorkCover Authority Forklift Licence Fee is $65 applies to all courses.
